This will be a multi platform discussion that will be posted on various sites (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and various android forums, as well as my personal site The neXup). And I am going to kick it off with this topic inspired by watching the latest episode of Droid-Life.

I am a huge fan of the Nexus Pixel line so much that is where I got the name for my blog. I accidentally placed the “s” from Nexus with a “p” and it just stuck. I have owned every Nexus/Pixel device dating back to the Galaxy Nexus because I love pure Google software. So when a new update to android software hit I just get excited to talk about what’s new. But are we “pure Google” fanboys giving Google credit for software features that Samsung had on their devices years prior?
