Fans of Pixel phones are rejoicing now as we are seeing that Android Q Beta is available. If you are a Pixel owner, who like living on the edge, you can swing over to Google’s site to “Opt In” for the developer preview. This early in the game, there are certainly going to be bugs in the software, so user beware.

According to Google’s blog, Q contains software that is designed for foldable devices, along with that will be improvement to the privacy features, an improved share shortcut, a floating settings panel, and more.

This is the first step in Google getting the latest software build ready for release. For those wanting to check it out, just note that there will (likely) be issues, as this is unfinished software. Betas allow developers to get a jump on what to expect when Google release their new software later in the year. I recommend testing it out on a backup device (if possible).

Stay tuned as I continue to dive into the new build.
