One of the coolest things about the 6th generation iPod Touch and the iPhone 5c back a few years ago was the number of color choices available. Red, blue, green, etc, a person could choose the color that fit them.

It looks like Apple may release the next iPhone with a palette of different colors from grey, white, blue, red, and orange. This will be big for Apple fans and a change from the past few years for phone manufacturers. As many they tend to release a base set of phones with one or several color choices and then wait about a few months later to release the same phone in an all new “phone color”. Something that irritates customers to death.

Hopefully this turns out to be true as I hope to see more variety with smartphone style choices. The last phone to offer real choice options was the Moto X. Unfortunately the ability to customize your phone online did not catch on with other phone manufacturers.
