The Razer phone brought gamers a serious phone for spec-heads. Outside of the camera it truly was one of the best spec’ed phones on the market. Nubia is looking to now bring their own gaming phone to the market with the Red Magic.

8 GB of Ram, 128GB of storage, and 3800 mAh battery is enough to excite any android fan. Rumored to price at just shy of $500, this will definitely grab some attention. The question will be if the 24MP camera will be enough to satisfy the market.

If Nubia can get this phone out early enough they may be able to steal some customers. This phone on paper has the potential to be a sleeper hit. The obvious concerns of the camera and Nubia’s parent company, ZTE, could keep this phone from making the kind of impact that it may hope. But welcome to the era of the high spec’ed gaming phones.
