My Pixel 3XL has a problem

I knew that Google had made a poor decision to go with the extra Ram, but I expected them to show that they could make up for it with software. Why else would you $900 for a phone with last year’s specs?

I don’t think this is just an issue of less Ram. This is more than that. This is a software issue that needs to be resolved asap. And that issue is with the phone dropping memory.

At first I saw a hiccup here and there, such as turning the phone on and noticing the notch cut out at the 3 o’clock position of the phone. I would see that and think of it as a run off. But then I started noticing programs quit. Programs like Youtube, Youtube TV, and Soundcloud would play and just crash. You go back to open the program and it either starts from the beginning or the last saved position (usually a few minutes behind).

I have now noticed this issue to have happened up to once per day now. And it is both annoying and frustrating. I know this is a major software flaw, but I could see how this would send a converted iPhone person back to Apple asap. Credit to Android Police for first highlighting the issue. I just hope Google has a solution for this cooked up and ready to be released soon.
