Why I chose these earbuds.

I was looking at the Apple Airpods thinking how I would love a device like that. Problem is I do not own an iPhone and was not looking to drop a hundred and fifty bucks for earbuds. So I wanted a cheap set of earbuds that I could purchase that was completely wireless. And that is where the Enacfire E18s came in. After searching for some wireless earbuds on Amazon these were in the price range I was willing to pay.

Pros:

Out of the box the set up is just simple and quick. Turn on the earbuds and pair it to your phone. No codes, no drama, just connection and on to your music. And for a set of $50 earbuds I was impressed with the sound quality from these little things. I was expecting sound lag and yet none whatsoever. Whether you are listening to music, watching a video, or handling a call the sound is crisp and slightly on the bass heavy side (something I prefer). Oh and it comes with the added benefit of the case that charges the earbuds.

I just love how once it is paired to your phone you are all set. All you have to do is lift the lid and pull out the earbuds and it immediately connects. “Left channel, right channel, second device connected”. It’s hard to believe this is only $50.

Cons:

But there are some caveats. For one the battery life is not that great. I was listening to a 2 hr podcast and by 1:58 I was getting a low battery warning. The 2nd thing is I would not recommend this for working out. Sitting at a desk or on a couch they stay in your ears just fine. In fact I was able to walk around with them with no problem. But on occasion I can feel them slipping out of my ear. So I can imagine the fight trying to keep them in during an intense workout. Because they are wireless you can lose one of them. If you are not paying attention when they slip out it could easily end up in a gutter or down a sewer drain. These are recommended for the office.

My last issue is I may get one charge in before having to plug up the case. And at times ill notice one earbud would still have the charging light on until I finally plug the case into an outlet.

If you are looking for a pair of bt wireless earbuds to listen to music while at the office then these will fit the bill. Just know you may not get the 5 hour listening time advertised. But for many workers they may get 45 mins in before it is time to put up the earbuds and field calls from clients.

  1. Mine won’t hold a charge, and when I try to contact customer service, I get this: Warning: fsockopen(): php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known in /var/www/html/enacfireglobal/system/library/mail/smtp.php on line 87Warning: fsockopen(): unable to connect to :25 (php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known) in /var/www/html/enacfireglobal/system/library/mail/smtp.php on line 87

    1. I’ve been having issues with my earbuds holding a charge. In fact I hardly use it anymore. I need to do an update to this review. I apologize you have been experiencing these kind of issues.

      1. Thanks for your reply. My buds are brand new. I don’t own exactly the charger they recommend. I have a 5.3V–2.0A. Thoughts?

      2. Your standard phone charger should work just fine. If it’s not holding a charge then it’s a device issue. Plus reading the reviews other people are having similar issues

      3. Thanks for taking the time to reply. Do you have any info on contacting the company?

      4. I am having the same issue getting a hold of support. Did you buy it off Amazon?

You may have better luck getting support out of them.

Thanks for making me aware of this so I can update my review alerting people about this.

      5. Thanks. It was a gift, but I’ll get in touch with my son. I suspect it was an Amazon purchase. I’ll let you know if I figure anything out.
