With Stadia being the talk of last week, I expected to see some announcements of some big titles scheduled for release. Google have the attention of people curious to see if they can actually pull this off. And eyes were on them at E3, the place where gamers nerd out on upcoming game titles. So here is what we have coming to Stadia.
Credit to Android Police, where I got this list. Here are some of the titles expected to make its way to Stadia. Dragonball Xenoverse, DOOM Eternal, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, Destiny 2, Samurai SHOWDOWN, NBA 2K, Borderlands 3, Mortal Kombat 11, and Marvel’s Avengers (to see the full list click on the link to the post on AP).
These are some big name titles that has me hopeful that this Stadia can be legit. Having been burned by the Nvidia Shield TV, I am not wanting another failed system. Google appears to have the titles in play, it is a matter of whether they can live up to providing quality game play to a number people pulling from their servers.
If they can pull this off, Google knows what is in store for them. But they are not the only one announcing a game streaming service, as XBox announced Project xCloud. And with early tests leaning in slight favor towards the xCloud, Google will be battling their way into living rooms across the nation against a company that has a proven track record, with the fans to back them up. Personally, Google has a chance, and if they snag that Madden, they got me.
