A place where fans of Marvel, Star Wars, Disney, and Pixar can come to enjoy content. Disney announced their Disney +, a streaming service geared to take on Netflix. Disney looks to add original content based on their properties. And at a price competitive to Netflix.

With an extensive lineup at the finger tips of Disney, as well as properties with a large following, this could end up being the streaming service that surpasses Netflix. Especially if they end up including many of the popular Fox properties.

What I see holding this back is Disney limiting their content selection to family friendly content (only). So popular Fox properties, ie Deadpool, may not be part of the content selection for viewers to choose from. So the chances of a show based on Deadpool may only be possible if the character is animated and/or censored.

Those wanting to check out the new Disney + will have to wait until the latter part of 2019.
