AT&T managed to secure the merger with Time Warner despite criticism that it would result in consumers paying more. So how do AT&T celebrate the merger, with a price increase for its customers.

If you are an AT&T wireless customer or a DirecTV Now customer expect a raise in your fees of $5 per month. This I’m sure is because AT&T is offering “more” to their customers including a new unlimited data plan that feels more like a tiered plan, as well as a more competitively priced plan for their 60 channel DirecTV Now service.

So thanks AT&T for taking good care of your customers. I guess you had to make up the money somewhere now that you will no longer be selling our location information to third party companies.
